We would still love to hear from you Job Summary: the IT Asset Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's IT assets, including both software and hardware. The IT Asset Analyst will collaborate with various teams to support operations, processes and procedures that are fundamental to both Hardware and Software Asset Management best practices, including effective lifecycle management of all specified assets. This position will utilize Asset Management tools and methodologies to maintain the accuracy and automation of reporting and asset tracking to ensure the inventory of each asset throughout the asset's useful lifecycle is maintained. IT Asset Analyst will support and participate in the FIT, LLC offerings. Job Duties: Create and maintain a comprehensive inventory of all IT hardware and software assets, including on-premises and cloud-based. Track asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal, ensuring all assets are properly documented and accounted for. Oversee the deployment, relocation, and decommissioning of IT assets. Review ongoing support agreements and upgrade protection on selected products by ensuring that maintenance, support and upgrade protection renewals are managed/handled/ordered in advance of their expiration. Champion the continuous improvement of the IT asset management lifecycle process within IT. Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with vendor agreements and licensing requirements. Conduct regular audits to verify software usage and licensing compliance. Coordinate with software vendors and internal teams to resolve licensing issues and manage renewals. Engage and monitor internal legal counsel review of the EULA and work with third party vendors to provide analysis of licensing consumption requirements during onboarding or upgrading software throughout the organization. Monitor software and support lifecycle to recommend upgrades based on compliance allowances or end of life requirements. Monitor and manage hardware inventory levels. Ensure hardware is maintained, repaired, and replaced as necessary to align with the hardware lifecycle. Track warranties and support contracts for all hardware assets. Develop and maintain detailed reports on asset inventory, including asset utilization, cost analysis, and compliance status. Develop and maintain physical asset assessment process and perform assessments on a periodic basis. Coordinate and act as the primary resource in the hardware and media sanitization process, including inventory and destruction day. This process requires being outdoors for the duration of the scheduled onsite service. Maintain decommission records of hard drives and assist with hard drive destruction. Identify savings opportunities for renewals, software licensing, and services. Work closely with vendors and system owners to obtain identified savings. Prepare documentation for asset audits and assist with external audits as needed. Create and update asset management policies and procedures. Assist with the procurement process for new IT assets, including gathering requirements, obtaining quotes, and evaluating vendor proposals. Manage contracts and relationships to maximize value creation and costs for software licensing, maintenance, and service offerings. Ensure adherence to organizational policies and industry standards regarding IT asset management and security. Execute best practices for data security related to asset management, including the secure disposal of retired assets. Comply with Founders' policies and procedures, as well applicable laws, regulations, and statutes issued by federal agencies such as NCUA and FFIEC, including, but not limited to, GLBA and BSA. Provide support to IT and end-users regarding asset-related inquiries and issues. Develop and deliver training materials on asset management processes and tools. All other duties as assigned. Job Specifications: The IT Asset Analyst should demonstrate the ability to analyze, research, and resolve questions and possess the ability to learn quickly and adjust to technology changes. The ideal candidate will have the following skills & qualifications: Associate degree or a minimum of 3 years of proven experience with IT Asset Management processes or IT procurement is required. Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP) or Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) Certification required within 2 years of being hired. Ability to interpret and manage software license agreements. Must be detail oriented and possess commitment to accuracy and strong written communication skills. Excellent analytical and organizational skills are required. Communicate clearly, diplomatically and effectively at all levels of the organization and to audiences with varying degrees of process and technical knowledge. Ability to understand and explain technical details and information to technical and non-technical audiences is required. Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams. Proficiency in system management and back-office processes is preferred. Ability to operate with a high degree of independence in task and project management activities. Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple work assignments and priorities with urgent deadlines, maintain excellent service delivery, while working with a fast-paced team. Strong understanding of IT hardware and software lifecycle management. Lifting of equipment up to 50 pounds may be required during hardware inventory and sanitization process. Due to the nature of project deadlines and system update requirements, evening and weekend work will be required based on department needs. Follow the asset management lifecycle process and procedures to support the efforts in maintaining an accurate and efficient configuration management inventory. Maintain a knowledge and understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the Incident Response teams defined in the Incident Response Plan.
