Senior Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with proficiency in JobBOSS to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and optimizing our financial processes, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and leveraging JobBOSS expertise to enhance operational efficiency. As a Senior Accountant, you will contribute to the overall financial health of the organization by overseeing various accounting functions and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and company policies. Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. JobBOSS Expertise: Utilize in-depth knowledge of JobBOSS to streamline and enhance accounting processes. Manage JobBOSS modules for job costing, inventory management, and production control. Troubleshoot and resolve JobBOSS-related issues, optimizing the system for increased efficiency. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets. Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities. Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and support internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and accounting standards. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices. Drive efficiency gains in financial workflows through automation and system enhancements. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, providing financial insights to support their objectives. Work closely with the IT team to integrate and optimize financial systems. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation is a plus. Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably with hands-on JobBOSS expertise. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
