Nature of Work: The Senior Manager, Premium and Business Development will report to the Senior Director, Premium Sales. This individual's primary responsibility will be leading a sales department to generate revenue through B2B sales of team and premium inventory. Inventory includes the selling of suites, all-inclusive clubs, team memberships and corporate groups. The Senior Manager, Premium and Business Development must have a proven track record in Business-to-Business sales, and be a professional, collaborative and team-oriented individual. Examples of work performed: Recruit, hire, and develop sales team focused on B2B sales Mentor team in prospecting, networking, setting appointments, filling pipelines and selling all available ticket packages Lead team to meet revenue goals tied to suite leases, theater boxes, premium seating, suite rentals and Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rapids, & Colorado Mammoth corporate season, partial, and group ticket packages Demonstrate leadership ability in line with organization values while providing management oversight for sales team Work with Senior Director to develop long and short term B2B strategy for all products Develop, track ROI, and execute Business-to-Business programs and premium ticket sales campaigns Form and strengthen cooperative relationships with other departments Represent, actively promote, and manage teams at events; including games, outside ticket events, ticket on-sales not excluding nights, weekends and holidays This description is a summary only and is describing the general level of work being performed, it is not intended to be all-inclusive. Working Conditions & Physical Demands: Typical Office Conditions Work in extreme weather conditions during gamedays and events Qualifications: Minimum BS/BA degree in field or related field At least four full years' experience in professional sports sales or six years' experience in business-to-business sales (outside of sports industry) . Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver's license and meet company vehicle driving standards. Preferred Previous management experience. Knowledge of the Denver market. Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Firm understanding of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment ticket products and services. Knowledge of the NBA, NHL, MLS, & NLL.
