Remote Option Available The University of Miami Health System, "UHealth", Information Technology Department has an exciting opportunity for a full time Epic Senior Analyst - Resolute Professional Billing. The Epic Senior Analyst - Resolute Professional Billing oversees and leads the Associate Epic Analysts and Epic Analysts on the team. The Epic Senior Analyst initiates the implementation, builds, and modifies of the application, and collaborates with key stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application’s configuration, function, and access. The incumbent supports junior staff members in day-to-day operations and resolving application issues. Serve s as a primary support contact for application end ‐ users. Initiate s the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the application. Initiate s all phases of testing and the documentation of workflow design . Perform s the analysis of information technology in clinical work processes and validates the impacts to the workflow . Initiate s the identification of issues and guides the work to resolve them . Support s junior staff members in the evaluation and resolution of service tickets, identification and implementation of application changes, retrieval of requested data, and execution of day-to-day operations . Collaborate s with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies . Work s with stakeholders, the business community, and end users to ensure the application meets UHealth's business/clinical needs . Participate in on-call rotations and support and attend and participate in , applicable committees . Maintain s regular communication with team members, including participating in weekly project team meetings . Review . the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership . Remains knowledgeable about UHealth’s policies, procedures, and business operations . Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. Department Specific Functions: Understanding of revenue cycle management or experience with billing operations Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel Problem Solving: Seeking, logically examining, and interpreting information from different sources to determine a problem's cause and developing a course of action to resolve the problem and to prevent its recurrence Dependability: Ability and willingness to take ownership of work activities and ensure that they are completed in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner Critical Thinking: Ability and willingness to see things in an open-minded way and examine an idea or concept from as many angles as possible Stakeholder Management: Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees including senior leadership This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary. CORE QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s d egree in relevant field Epic certificate in Resolute Professional Billing Administration including Single Billing Office is required and Resolute Professional Billing Claims and Remittance Administration, or Resolute Hospital Professional Billing Expected Reimbursement Contracts Administration is also required. Minimum 3 years of Epic build experience Minimum of 5 years of experience , preferably in hospital revenue cycle management Previous operational, project management, and organizational skills. Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary. Proficiency in computer software ( i.e. Microsoft Office). Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others. Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
