The ideal candidate would work closely with the Marketing & Business Development Director and Managers as well as other marketing staff to implement marketing plans and programs for building the Firm, practice and industry group profiles. Assist with development and delivery of RFP responses, pitches and presentations to clients, prospective clients, and referral sources. This includes drafting and assembling materials and documents. Support and help deploy programs and events hosted/sponsored by the firm including teleconferences, webinars, seminars and other events as needed. Compile information and assist in drafting submissions for directory and ranking authorities such as Chambers USA, Legal 500, Law360, American Lawyer, etc. Participate in creating and editing internal and external publications and marketing materials. Conduct online and database research of specific companies, industries and/or targets. Coordinate the production of client mailings, including newsletters, alerts, invitations, and announcements. Leverage the firm's CRM database (Salesforce) and Marketing Automation tool (Pardot) for business development purposes such as tracking attendance, reporting, tracking pitches, etc. Flexibility in working hours will be required on occasion. One to two years of demonstrated success in a marketing, research, and/or communications-related field, either in the professional services ( e.g ., law, accounting, or consulting) or in a comparable position(s) in the corporate sector. Essential Functions: The ideal candidate will format materials for client presentations, internal training meetings etc. Manage the pitch process for presentations and pitches for all existing clients and prospective clients. You will assist the team with the preparation of responses to RFPs & RFIs, including execution and delivery. Assist with the coordination of practice group events, sponsorships, teleconferences, webinars and speaking engagements. Work with marketing systems and shared drives, including maintaining information about win/loss for RFPs, CRM database (experience with Salesforce preferable), Marketing Automation system (Pardot or equivalent experience preferable), and assist with experience database updates. Update and maintain marketing materials, including practice profiles, attorney profiles and PowerPoint presentations. Coordinate directory submissions and other surveys in close collaboration with the global marketing & BD team. Conduct research of prospective targets, industries, markets, competition and conflicts via firm-wide resources, online databases, and utilization of library resources. Collate information on clients and produce briefing notes for partner conferences, speaker events and/or business trips/client meetings. Support marketing and BD team with general administrative tasks while maintaining pitch book files, update information on spreadsheets, submit check requests and expense reports, etc. Provide back-up services to the team on an as-needed basis.
