Job Description
$20 - $23 hourly
Responsibilities:- Verify new customers coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance paperwork
- Contact clients for concerns or complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and monitor the situation to make sure the issue is resolved
- Demonstrate accuracy in processing client policy modifications based on the data given
- Answer incoming call center questions about insurance policies and insurance coverage issues, as well as consumer complaints and general inquiries
- Remain up to date on new marketing initiatives to accurately address insurance-related questions using all available tools
- Establish working relationships with clients, potential clients, and companies we represent on the phone, email, and on paper
- Supporting teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects
- Research and resolve coverage questions
- Promptly respond to client needs either on the phone or electronically
- Maintain client files and process routine correspondence between our agency and the client or company… both paper records as well as our many different software programs
- Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative selling
- Assist with other office duties as they arise and are needed
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software
- High school diploma or GED equivalent needed
- Display strong communication skills, active listening skills, and personal skills
- Knowledge of insurance products and policy schedules is preferred
- You must have previous customer service experience for this position
- You must be fluent in Spanish, written and spoken
- This is an "in-person" position, so you must live within driving distance of our office location in Fullerton, CA, and have appropriate means of transportation
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a calculator
- Type quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Organized, structured, punctual, and will follow the rules
- Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical, and honest
- Property and Casualty license preferred (required within the first 60 days of employment)
- We will train and educate the successful candidate. However, having previous experience working within the insurance industry is a bonus
