Position Summary: The Executive Administrator ("EA") will work directly with the CEO and Chief of Staff to facilitate the responsibilities of the office of the CEO and help manage workload and implementation. The ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated professional capable of managing and prioritizing at the highest levels of a fast-paced corporate environment with a keen sense of diplomacy and urgency. This position will be based at the Crinetics headquarters in San Diego, CA, with some flexibility to work from home. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: These may include but are not limited to: Provide complex, diverse, and confidential support to the CEO and Chief of Staff to facilitate the successful execution of the responsibilities of the office of the CEO. Maintain and proactively organize the complex and rapidly evolving calendar of the CEO threading professional and personal activities. Assist in task management for the CEO to ensure obligations and commitments are met on time. Coordinate Board of Directors, Senior Leadership, Executive Leadership Team, and Town Hall meetings. Support CEO with complex domestic and international travel coordination. Plan and prepare CEO for meetings, including preparation of meeting agendas and ensuring meeting materials are available on time for pre-reads and meeting presentation. May assist in event planning including company holiday party, summer event, special events associated with conferences, various dinners, and happy hours. Work independently to plan, organize, and complete a variety of non-recurring and ongoing projects to include, but not limited to, special reports, spreadsheets, presentations, strategic plans, and Board of Directors materials. Compile expense receipts, complete and submit expense reports through COUPA, for reimbursement to accounting department. Compile and reconcile credit card statements for CEO. Make administrative decisions that impact operational processes in the CEO office. Assist with coordinating outside activities that increase Crinetics' visibility in the community. Serve as a liaison internally and externally to visitors. Assist with ad hoc projects. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: Required: Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 12 years' experience, (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered). Highest degree of discretion, tact, judgement and diplomatic skills regarding highly confidential internal and external communications and materials. Previous experience working closely with members of a company's executive team, Board of Directors and investors in a publicly traded biotech/life science, pharmaceutical, or med-tech. Proven creativity and taste in booking complex domestic and international travel and CEO hosted events and gatherings. Adaptability and resilience to changing needs and situations with an unflappable personal attitude. An ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve problems in a timely manner and think outside the box when challenging issues arise. Experience with complex calendar management, project meeting and event planning and execution, travel and expense report administration. Strong proficiency with and in-depth knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Physical Activities: On a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate. Travel: You may be required to travel for up to 10% of your time. The Anticipated Base Salary Range: $130,000 - $162,000 In addition to your base pay, our total rewards program consists of a discretionary annual target bonus, stock options, ESPP, and 401k match. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience and education.
