Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Tax Professional, you will play a critical role in our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing accurate and timely federal and state tax returns for individuals and small businesses, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Conducting due diligence to gather and document necessary information for complex tax situations.
Utilizing industry-leading technology to streamline tax preparation processes.
Providing occasional accounting and bookkeeping services, with potential opportunities for life and health insurance licensing.
Delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a positive relationship with existing and new clients.
Contributing to a customer-friendly culture, with a shared responsibility for client acquisition and retention.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in tax preparation or accounting, with recent experience within the last 2 years.
Extensive knowledge of personal and small business tax regulations, including Schedule C and E.
Proven track record of preparing complex tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail.
Current PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively serve a diverse clientele.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

Expected Hours: 20 – 40 hours per week
