Brookdale Skyline is a 511 unit continuing care retirement community (CCRC) with four levels of care on one campus, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing.

Voted by Newsweek in 2024 as one of America's Greatest Workplaces for Diversity, Brookdale Skyline in Colorado Springs is looking for a dynamic sales-focused Operations Leader to oversee our beautiful and luxurious campus. Our CCRC campus (gated community) is on 55 acres and includes walking paths, a dog run, and 150 Independent Garden Homes.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all operations within the community, interacting with staff and residents, prospects, or their family members as necessary.
Assess local market and develop and implement a turnaround business plan to become the highest performing senior living community in the area.
In partnership with District Director of Sales, provide strategy, support, and vision to achieve sales and occupancy goals.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with the management team and encourage teamwork and collaboration.
Encourage and support department leaders to attract, develop, engage, and retain associates.
Build a high degree of resident satisfaction and retention.
Create and maintain collaborative relationships with community clinical leader(s).
Demonstrate a high degree of financial acumen as it relates to community operations.
Identify and build positive relationships with local influencers and professionals to raise community profile.
Work with maintenance and other appropriate department leaders to ensure buildings, grounds, and property are up to Company standards.
Enforce current Company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required; or additional years of experience can be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Minimum of five years of operational leadership experience required, and three years of successful sales experience in a related industry strongly preferred.
Must have a valid administrator license in states where required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for business use.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Standing, walking, sitting, use of hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ability to lift: up to 50 pounds.
Requires interaction with co-workers, residents, or vendors.
Possible exposure to communicable diseases and infections.
Requires Travel: Occasionally.

Salary Range Information: $155,130.00 - $200,000.00 / year
