Our 511 unit continuing care retirement community (CCRC) has four levels of care on one campus, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing. Overview Voted by Newsweek in 2024 as one of America's Greatest Workplaces for Diversity, Brookdale Skyline, in Colorado Springs, is looking for a dynamic, sales-focused Operations Leader to oversee our beautiful and luxurious campus. Our CCRC campus (gated community) is on 55 acres and includes walking paths, a dog run, and 150 Independent Garden Homes. Long-term care experience is required. Responsibilities Responsible for all operations within the community, interacting with staff, residents, prospects, and their family members as necessary. Assess local market and develop and implement a turnaround business plan to become the highest performing senior living community in the area. In partnership with District Director of Sales, provide strategy, support, and vision to achieve sales and occupancy goals through effective business development efforts. Build and maintain strong working relationships with the management team, encouraging teamwork and collaboration. Encourage and support department leaders to attract, develop, engage, and retain associates in accordance with Company policies. Build a high degree of resident satisfaction and retention, maintaining positive resident relations. Oversee resident services, ensuring high-quality services and compliance with Company policy and applicable legal requirements. Demonstrate a high degree of financial acumen as it relates to community operations. Identify and build positive relationships with local influencers and professionals to raise the community profile. Work with maintenance and other department leaders to ensure buildings, grounds, and property are up to Company standards. Enforce current Company policies and procedures, maintaining applicable licenses in accordance with Company, Federal, State, and local requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required; or additional years of experience can be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis. Minimum of five years of operational leadership experience required, and three years of successful sales experience in a related industry strongly preferred. Must have a valid administrator license in states where required. Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for business use.
