This labor category is a highly hands-on technical position responsible for cyber security compliance of both the Tier3 endpoint computing and Tier 4 infrastructure environments. Some of the key responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: Proactively monitor all environments for known vulnerabilities in deployed configurations. Proactively research newly identified vulnerabilities/cyber threats reported by various information sources to include but not limited to vulnerabilities reported by software/hardware vendors, reported by TDS-IS, published by Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and information publicly available on the internet through product-specific forums. Use Cyber Security tools, provided by TDS-IS, for proactively identifying vulnerabilities in newly developed software images, new software releases/updates, and configuration changes and remediations. Research/develop and test technical solutions/strategies for remediation of vulnerabilities. Deploy patches and security remediations across the endpoint computing environment (Windows, Mac, and Mobile Devices). During surge needs, the position is responsible for substituting for the role of software release manager and imaging positions. Validate software release process/technical procedures. Develop master images and deployment procedures. Develop and maintain compliance checklists for release of new software and/or configuration changes. Work with stakeholders for software deployment/updates in adherence with the Change Control Process. Responsible for within team communication of critical issues, documentation of process updates and best practices. Qualifications
Knowledge/skills: Requires hands-on 5+ years of working knowledge in the following areas, in an environment with 1000+ Microsoft Windows and MacOS endpoint devices: Hands-on senior level experience with knowledge of multi-platform (Microsoft Windows, MacOS, and Mobile) operating systems and software. Hands-on senior level experience as Ivanti Software Administrator for endpoint management, software configuration, and security compliance of endpoint devices. Hands-on senior level experience with technologies involved in software and operating system deployment in a large enterprise. Senior-level experience with Microsoft Excel (experience with Microsoft Access and/or any other advanced data manipulation solutions is a plus). Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and endpoint performance management tools. Strong knowledge of endpoint security compliance and remediations. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to identify, research, and resolve simple to moderately complex technical support issues independently. Must be familiar with the latest hardware platforms for endpoint computing. Excellent customer service skills. Self-motivated and takes initiative. Proficient project planning and writing skills. (MCP) Microsoft Certified Professional or (MCSE) Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert highly desired. Mac Genius experience. Experience providing engineering support of Active Directory, DNS, and Microsoft client application components such as Office 365 and Power Apps. Experience with Active Directory including a strong foundation in AD directory service technologies, authoring of Group policies, and troubleshooting domain functions. Hands-on experience designing and configuring Microsoft Windows and Mac End User technology including Antivirus, patch management, and other System Administration tools, including but not limited to Ivanti Endpoint Manager and JAMF. Experience developing detailed Windows and Mac Administrative standards, design, and implementation documentation. Experience capacity planning, performance monitoring, and maintenance. Strong hands-on experience with endpoint security tools such as Nessus vulnerability scanner, Microsoft Defender, McAfee, and encryption technologies. Additional Information
