Responsible for all administrative and logistical tasks in service of ensuring the Adams County Government Center’s executive workplace - including the County Manager, Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and County Manager's Office (CMO) runs smoothly.

Primary responsibilities include front desk coverage, accounts payable processing, event planning and logistics support for the executive floor. Take pride in being the first face most see when they enter the executive suite. Enjoy simple, complex, and at times urgent problem solving, and working both independently on and with a supportive team. Have a sense of humor! Given that this role is a recent addition to the Chief of Staff team, this job may be of interest to you if you are willing to quickly learn the tasks outlined below and then identify other ways to increase efficiency and collaboration and positively impact the culture of the executive workplace. Provide front desk coverage and maintain 5th floor access via the front desk by assisting visitors. Answer phone calls and sort/distribute mail daily. Handle all requisitions and invoices for the CMO's office and Board of County Commissioners. Assist with logistics - catering, IT support, and more - for Board of County Commissioner's Public Hearings, Study Session Meetings, and other BoCC, CMO department, and Adams County events and meetings. Partner with the Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) Operations Associate to assist with managing constituent services. Provide administrative support to the Clerk to the Board in support of Board of County Commissioner's Public Hearings and Study Session Meetings, and assist in other capacities with Board events. Partner with Executive Assistant to the County Manager’s Office to assist with scheduling for the Executive Leadership team as needed. Responsible for coordinating the maintenance of office equipment. Input work order requests to our facilities team. Create and maintain an inventory and place orders for general office supplies and for special requests. Coordinate and plan for CMO team meetings, teambuilding events, holidays, birthdays and the like. Oversee organization of and process for maintaining the office kitchens. With time, become the subject matter expert in the office for administrative and logistical tasks that help the executive suite run smoothly. Digital Skillset:

Highly proficient in computer software such as Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar), Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Attention to detail:

Three (3) years progressively responsible administrative and secretarial experience at the executive administrative/logistical level. Education and Training: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. College level course work in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field is preferable. License or Certificate:

Certified, or ability to become certified, as a Notary Public in the state of Colorado. Background Check:

Must pass a criminal background check.
