Position Overview
The Branch Manager is a key leader responsible for driving the success of the branch through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a customer-centric approach. This role is pivotal in achieving organizational goals by developing new business opportunities, fostering team growth, and enhancing the branch's market presence. As a Branch Manager, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, cultivating strategic partnerships, and ensuring the branch delivers exceptional service while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction to achieve branch goals in profitability, performance, and customer service. Build and nurture strong client relationships, promoting bank products and services to increase profitability. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while fostering strategic partnerships aligned with company objectives. Lead recruitment, training, and development efforts to cultivate a high-performing team. Represent the branch in community initiatives to enhance reputation and achieve Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Community Affairs (CA) goals. Ensure adherence to all bank policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management protocols. Core Functions Strategic Leadership Set the branch's vision and strategy, focusing on long-term growth and profitability. Collaborate with internal teams, such as Commercial Relationship Officers and Lending Officers, to expand the branch's client portfolio. Team Development Conduct regular staff meetings to align the team with branch objectives and operational standards. Provide ongoing coaching, recognition, and feedback to support professional growth. Operational Management Oversee daily branch operations, including security procedures, cash handling, and audit compliance. Manage financial reports and ensure all compliance requirements are met. Community Engagement Act as a branch ambassador by participating in local community events and activities, fostering strong relationships.
Additional Responsibilities
Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring clarity and accountability among team members. Conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective actions when needed. Administer personnel policies, including time and attendance management. Provide cross-functional support as needed, ensuring seamless operations across departments. Mandatory Training

Required Skills and Qualifications
Education/Training
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field required. Specialized training in retail banking operations is a plus. Experience
Minimum of five (5)+ years in banking operations, leadership, or a related field. Skills
Strong communication skills (Spanish proficiency is a plus). Deep understanding of banking operations, products, and regulations. Proven leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
