Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Beverly, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in a manufacturing environment and will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing processes to efficiently manufacture high-quality products. This role involves collaboration with design engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure optimal production practices, reduce costs, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate manufacturing schedules, longer-term plans, and workflows.
• Analyze complex problems and provide solutions independently.
• Create, document, and implement procedures for assembly, processing, testing, and manufacturing of products.
• Design, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize production methods, balancing cost and quality.
• Perform and report on evaluation testing, verification, and validation in compliance with ISO, FDA, and corporate guidelines.
• Estimate production times, staffing needs, and related costs to support management decisions.
• Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams on manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and optimization strategies.
• Utilize statistical methods to troubleshoot processes and conduct root cause analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve operations, implement new processes, and train teams accordingly.
• Oversee equipment purchases and installations, and perform IQ/OQ and PQ functions.
• Investigate operational issues affecting production and address them systematically.
• Prepare required manufacturing documentation for product manufacturing.
• Coordinate various manufacturing projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Work closely with R&D and other departments to estimate costs for new designs and potential product changes.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes meet safety, environmental, and design standards as per regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment with hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Strong understanding of ISO, FDA, and corporate quality guidelines.
• Experience in process improvement, statistical methods, and root cause analysis.
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with equipment installation, validation, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
