Project Overview: Bechtel is partnering with NextDecade to support their vision to provide the world access to lower carbon intensive energy with their Rio Grande LNG (RGLNG) project in Brownsville, Texas.
RGLNG is a natural gas liquefaction and export terminal situated on a 984-acre site on the banks of the Brownsville ship channel. The first phase of the RGLNG project consists of three liquefaction trains, two storage tanks and one marine berth. At full capacity, the five-train facility will have a production capacity of 27 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).

Job Summary: In this role, you will provide automation support to project teams, including setup, training, application use in work-process, software quality assurance and control, reporting, database administration, and close-out of all construction automation software and applications. Your technical knowledge will help ensure applications and software meet user requirements and are compliant with work processes. #LI-TH1
Major Responsibilities:
Provides automation support to teams on project, including setup, training, application use in work-process, software quality assurance and control, reporting, database administration, and close-out of all construction automation software’s and applications
Analyzes user requirements and coordinates compliance with work processes
Provides software training to project team members as required
Assists with testing and supports data integration of interfaces between software/programs
Supports customization of applications as required by project
Coordinates and prepares meetings, workshops, and presentations as required
Acquires knowledge of database management, programming skills, and 3D tools, to support team and project construction planning, work packaging, progress reporting, material management, turnover/completions, workforce management and timekeeping
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a University Hire with less than 1 year of experience or 4-5 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of engineering and construction methods and processes customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience
Knowledge of TEAMWorks and associated applications is preferred
Experience with other Bechtel Standard applications, including PTR, SETROUTE, BPS and InfoWorks is desirable.
A good understanding of Bechtel standard construction work processes and procedures is desirable.
Advanced level capability with MS Excel and Access is required.
Intermediate Level SQL database and reportability platforms is required (SQL,SSRS - SQL Server Reporting Services, PBI).
