The Digital Health Program Manager will spearhead and manage the execution of multiple digital health initiatives within Stanford Children's Health under the leadership and direction of the department Director, ensuring alignment with organizational strategic goals to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. This seasoned role involves program leadership, cross-functional team management, stakeholder engagement, resource and budget management, and driving continuous innovation and improvement in digital health programs. The responsibilities include defining program goals, mentoring project teams, managing resources, mitigating risks, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders to ensure successful program outcomes.

Strategic Program Leadership: Collaborates with leadership to define strategic objectives, program goals, and key performance indicators for digital health initiatives. Leads the planning, implementation, evaluation and scaling of multiple, complex Digital Health programs across various departments within Stanford Children's Health. Ensures alignment of Digital Health work to other key areas including Digital Transformation and organizational strategies and priorities Cross-functional Team Management:
Oversees and mentors multi-functional teams including of analysts, project managers, program coordinators, business partners, clinicians and other key stakeholders involved in digital health projects. Fosters collaboration and alignment across clinical, technical, and operational teams. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
Serves as the primary liaison between executive leadership/program steering, service line leaders, clinical teams, IT, and external partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment on program objectives. Presents program updates, outcomes, and strategic recommendations to leadership and other key stakeholders. Resource & Budget Management:
Works with the Digital Health Director to help oversee the allocation of resources and budget across various digital health programs and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. Identifies and mitigates risks related to program execution, including financial, operational, and compliance risks. Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Drives innovation in digital health by identifying emerging trends, technologies, and best practices that can be leveraged to enhance program outcomes. Leads efforts to continuously improve digital health programs by analyzing performance data, soliciting feedback from stakeholders, and implementing best practices. Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders to understand departmental workflows and act as a trusted digital health partner. Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education : Bachelor's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university
Experience : Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare operations, program management, or digital health.
License/Certification : None required.
PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification, Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certifications, and/or Epic Certification preferred

Knowledge of program management tools and software required for the area, such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar platforms. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, FDA regulations, and other relevant compliance requirements for digital health programs. Ability to manage program risks, compliance with regulatory requirements, and adherence to best practices. Ability to lead and manage organizational change, with experience in guiding teams through transitions and fostering a culture of adaptability and resilience. Ability to effectively manage resistance to change and drive the adoption of new processes, technologies, and practices. Ability to manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring their needs are met while aligning with organizational objectives. Ability to engage and collaborate with external partners, vendors, and consultants to achieve program goals. Ability to keep abreast to new technologies and methodologies that enhance program outcomes. Knowledge of process improvement methodologies, with a focus on optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and driving program success.

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
Minimum to Midpoint Range (1.0 FTE): $118,476.80 to $157,081.60
