The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full-time Acquisition Program Management Specialist, Supervisory, GG-1101-14, located at the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (HNC) at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX.

This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.
In the position, you will serve as Chief of the Situational Awareness Acquisition Management Section, assisting the Joint Cyber Command and Control Branch Chief with planning, organizing, and directing activities and exercising control over assigned non-supervisory program and project managers. This position performs an integral role in accomplishing organizational strategic goals and objectives and managing efforts which support the acquisition and sustainment of cyber modernization programs. This position also provides program management oversight, business planning, and execution analysis in the areas of cyber products
U.S. Citizenship Must possess an active Top Secret Clearance Must sign a non-disclosure agreement Must have knowledge of DoD, Joint, and Air Force Military and Civilian personnel principles, concepts, and methodologies. Provide cradle to grave civilian personnel management. Perform research and advises on a variety of issues of a sensitive nature that concern hiring policies and procedures and related legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Interpret laws, regulations, rules, and local policies for management. Act as expert advisor to the AFLCMC/HNCJ Branch Chief and other senior management (AFLCMC/HNC) on acquisition management policies and on resolving critical issues with respect to the Cyber SA section within the Joint Cyber C2 Branch. Comprehensive knowledge of acquisition management and product support principles, policies, practices, regulations and laws. Through knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structures and operations of the DoD, Air Force, and organizations that govern, interface with and/or influences systems acquisition and integrated life-cycle management processes. High-level ability to gather and analyze a variety of program information; plan, organize, integrate and manage a variety of acquisition functions and personnel in providing program support; make sound judgements concerning program activities and progress. This position may be designated as an acquisition position.
