The
Healthcare Project Manager
provides on-site direction for all aspects of construction for their assigned project. Manage project costs to ensure completion within budget expectations. Develop the project schedule in critical path steps and budget time required to meet deadlines. Responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards. Also responsible for the leadership and development of the project staff. Project manager is responsible for ensuring that the project meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities Supervision of Quality Managers, Office Engineers, Assistant Project Managers and Assistant Administrative Assistants Assure that projects are staffed correctly Plan and hold estimating hand off meeting Plan and hold project kick off meeting Assure that project planning meetings are held Assure that pre-planning processes are followed Assist project team with project risk management strategy Analyze and write subcontracts Create subcontractor bid tabs Initiate pre-qualifications of potential subs Review with Superintendent all purchases for material, rental equipment, and forming systems Prepare and submit proposed changes to Owner Chair weekly project meetings Prepare monthly billing to Owner Maintain proposed changes Monitor progress and maintain project schedule Expedite material deliveries Review monthly job cost reports and prepare forecasts Monitor safety program Responsible for project close out including preparation of all warranties, as-built drawings and maintenance manuals Skills & Qualifications
Must have healthcare/labratory project experience Degree in the field of Construction Science or Engineering are preferred, however not required 5-10 years of experience in ground up commercial construction, ground up experience healthcare. Experience with scheduling software as Primavera & Procore is preferred Experience on projects that utilized technologies such as digital plan rooms, BIM or laser scanning Preconstruction leadership on potential or negotiated projects RO Perks
