Pharmacist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $60.00-$67.00 per hour
• United Healthcare benefits are available through A-Line Staffing after 90 days and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance. To be eligible for benefits you must work an average of 30 hours per week for your first 6 weeks.
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacist Highlights

• Location: Altoona, PA 16601
  • Will be floating to other nearby locations as needed
• Location hours: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM
  • Guarantee: 40 hours per week
  • Days Open: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat
  • Reason for opening: Intermittent Need
• Contract Weeks: 13
  • This position is a contingent W2 assignment with potential for extension or conversion based on attendance, performance, and business needs. 

Pharmacist Responsibilities

• Accurately filling, dispensing, and selling prescriptions to patients 
• Informing customers about medications, their use, and possible side effects
• Keeping a consistent count of medications and organizing orders
• Ensuring legal compliance and managing invoices, documents, and records
• Advising physicians and other healthcare workers on medications
• Helping customers with inquiries and purchases
• Administer immunizations as needed to patients 

Pharmacist Requirements

• Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania
• Proof of an accredited APhA or ACPE 20-hour immunization certificate
