Senior Litigation Associate

About the Role: We are seeking a motivated defense litigation attorney to join their Southern CA-based complex litigation team . The candidate must be a self-starter and possess the ability to multi-task, with demonstrated longevity in a defense practice. Working with others in a team-oriented environment is essential. You will work closely with clients, firm partners, and other associates, contributing to a culture of mentorship and teamwork. This firm offers a hybrid work schedule- office located just east of Pasadena (SGV), with a competitive compensation package , a low turnover rate, and a billable hour target of 1850 annually. Key Responsibilities: Independently manage a caseload Conduct case assessments, respond to discovery requests, and prepare litigation documents. Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and develop trial strategies. Work collaboratively with team members, contributing to trial preparation and client communication. Participate in settlement negotiations, ensuring effective advocacy for clients. Qualifications: 3 years of defense litigation experience Hands-on experience taking case files from inception through resolution. Strong verbal, written communication, and analytical skills. Admitted to practice in California, with a strong preference for candidates in good standing with the CA State Bar.
