Job Description
  • Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to enhance financial integrity and efficiency.
  • Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax advisors, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor changes in accounting regulations and assess their impact on the company.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for the accounting team.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations and enhance accuracy.

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
