Reporting to the Dental Assisting Program Director, successful candidates will be responsible for lecture and/or lab settings using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program; maintain records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluate level of achievement, and assign grades for the program. Courses are offered during the day at our Pendleton campus. Minimum and Additional Requirements Bachelor's Degree Preferred Qualifications Background in and current knowledge of dental assisting, the specific subjects they are teaching and educational theory and methodology. Faculty providing didactic instruction must have earned at least a baccalaureate degree. Lab, preclinical and clinical faculty must hold any current dental assisting credential required by the state in addition to a Dental Assisting National Board "CDA" credential.
