We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to our Tax team based in Indianapolis. This is an exciting, fast paced role where you will need to maintain a high aptitude for detailed work, manage multiple workload priorities, work well with tight deadlines, and possess superior customer service and interpersonal skills. Essential Functions and Primary Duties
* Produce, format, and edit letters and client deliverables
* Utilize company software to access and save data and documents in electronic format
* Communicate with internal staff to verify and finalize deliverables
* Working closely with other team members to collaborate on shared tasks
* Update tracking system to ensure all products are properly filed, including generating reports
* Troubleshoot delivery issues with clients including software education and due dates to ensure efficient turnaround of deliverables
* Management of various special projects including working with others to ensure quality and timely completion
* Manage and prioritize a large volume of electronic correspondence via Outlook and Microsoft Teams
* Use of software including, but not limited to: Practice Engine, CCH Axcess, Adobe, Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Concur, Docuware, etc.
* Internal and external event coordination
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous administrative or customer service experience
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
* Professional written and verbal communication skills
* Comfortable with verbal client interaction - in person, telephone and email
* Familiarity with general office equipment including computers, telephones, copiers/printers, and scanners
* Discrete concerning confidential or sensitive information
* Ability to work in the office daily
* Ability to demonstrate professionalism when working with internal staff and clients
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Resourceful and a team player
* Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage workflow for multiple team members
Minimum Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED
* 2 years' experience in office environment, preferably performing as an administrative assistant
* Must have knowledge of administrative procedures and best practices
* Proficient use of applicable technology
* Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
