Overview:

We are looking for an accomplished Plant Manager with demonstrated success in driving transformation within a manufacturing setting. This role will lead all aspects of plant operations with an emphasis on boosting production efficiency, cutting costs, enhancing quality standards, and reestablishing essential supplier relationships. Core Responsibilities:

Oversee daily plant functions, covering production, maintenance, safety, quality assurance, and supply chain management. Develop and execute plans to elevate plant performance through enhanced production output, cost reductions, and improved quality. Champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production. Rebuild and maintain essential relationships with suppliers, ensuring dependable material delivery, beneficial terms, and improved supplier performance. Work closely with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to address operational challenges, quality control issues, and supply chain interruptions. Utilize operational and supply chain data to pinpoint areas for increased efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Cultivate a team-oriented culture focused on accountability, problem-solving, and performance. Manage the plants budget, focusing on cost control and strategic capital investments. Ensure plant operations meet all regulatory, industry, and company compliance standards, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and OSHA requirements. Communicate effectively with corporate leadership to report progress, identify challenges, and highlight opportunities. Mentor department leaders and supervisors, fostering growth and leadership development within the plant. Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity, ideally as a Plant or Operations Manager. Proven experience in turnaround situations, enhancing production metrics, financial outcomes, and workforce morale. Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement strategies. Demonstrated ability to rebuild and sustain productive supplier relationships, including contract negotiation and supplier performance management. Strong foundation in procurement and supply chain management, focusing on inventory optimization, lead time reduction, and material availability. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to data-driven decision-making. Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with a talent for motivating teams. Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory and industry standards, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and OSHA. Experience managing significant operational budgets and capital expenditure plans. Preferred Skills and Experience:

Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) or relevant field. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification. Background in the automotive or heavy equipment parts manufacturing industry. Proven success in strengthening supplier relationships, including contract renegotiations and improving quality and delivery metrics. Familiarity with ISO 14001 and sector-specific standards such as automotive safety or emissions. Experience in leveraging technology for process enhancement, including automation and data analytics.
