- Purpose of the Team: The team is a part of Sigma R&D and focuses on the project management side of the organization. They support the CVP of the organization and handle engineering for operating systems, including Windows and gaming.
- Key projects: This role will contribute to: Operating system engineering for Windows and gaming. Managing onboarding and offboarding of employees. Supporting two leaders' calendars and handling operational tasks such as device management and expense reports.
- Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 10-20% meetings, 30% calendaring for two leaders, the remainder is onboarding and offboarding employees.

Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of complex administrative functions for all levels of management including external business partners.
- Manages schedule(s), coordinates travel arrangements and processes business expenses.
- Coordinates meetings and events, department financial operations, personnel operations, and facility operations.
- Manages procurement of goods and services including computer equipment, office supplies, reference materials, and vendor relationships.
- Provides general office support. Serves as the department/group contact.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- Years of Experience Required: 1 to 2 years of experience as a business administrator at Microsoft. This is a hard requirement, and candidates without this experience will be rejected. Overall experience: While the job description mentions 3 to 5 years of administrative experience, candidates with more experience (e.g., 15 years) are also considered, provided they meet the Microsoft experience requirement.
