Sr. Analyst (Live Anywhere)

You will be joining a team working on multiple initiatives focused on building algorithms and dashboards for our internal teams.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Translate data and results into insights, actions, and recommendations
  • Basic data analytics with large volumes of data - pull and organize via Python (basic cleansing and importing)
  • Liaison and partner with offshore team
  • Apply filters from dashboards in order to tell a story with data
  • Build basic ML algorithm (regressions/forecasting)
  • Collaborate with team members (Engineering, UX, and Product Management) to create solutions
  • Forecasting models will be completed by technical resources and you will need to analyze and visualize the output to make sense of it for the business

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 4+ years as an Analyst or Senior Analyst
  • Experience working in a retail, e-commerce or digital analytics
  • SQL - can write from scratch, manipulate complex queries, stored procedures
  • Python - basic cleansing, importing data
  • Basic data visualization in Excel, Tableau or Power BI
  • Exposure to Machine Learning - Building Regression or Forecasting Algorithms
  • Experience with insight generation - collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to gain new understanding and generate insights
  • Experience telling a story with data and communicating complex ideas to both technical and non-technical end users
  • Can provide proven examples where they have found correlations or trends with data to drive recommendations
  • Experience with JIRA or similar tracking tool
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
