Senior Analyst

You will be joining a team working on multiple initiatives focused on building algorithms and dashboards for our internal teams. RESPONSIBILITIES: Translate data and results into insights, actions, and recommendations Basic data analytics with large volumes of data - pull and organize via Python (basic cleansing and importing) Liaison and partner with offshore team Apply filters from dashboards in order to tell a story with data Build basic ML algorithm (regressions/forecasting) Collaborate with team members (Engineering, UX, and Product Management) to create solutions Forecasting models will be completed by technical resources and you will need to analyze and visualize the output to make sense of it for the business This is a tremendous opportunity to be part of a large organization that believes in promoting talent from within. This is 12 month contract opportunity. You can be working remotely, but need to be able to work eastern standard hours. REQUIRED SKILLS: 4 years as an Analyst or Senior Analyst Experience working in a retail, e-commerce or digital analytics SQL - can write from scratch, manipulate complex queries, stored procedures Python - basic cleansing, importing data Basic data visualization in Excel, Tableau or Power BI Exposure to Machine Learning - Building Regression or Forecasting Algorithms Experience with insight generation - collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to gain new understanding and generate insights Experience telling a story with data and communicating complex ideas to both technical and non-technical end users Can provide proven examples where they have found correlations or trends with data to drive recommendations Experience with JIRA or similar tracking tool Bachelor's Degree in a related field Must be eligible to work in the US without Visa sponsorship or transfer.
