Subcontracts Sr. Director
joining our team to lead a group of talented Subcontract Administrators in cradle to grave subcontracts activities, supporting GDIT’s growth objectives with our proposal teams, and our financial objectives within our operations teams. HOW SUBCONTRACTS SR. DIRECTOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Develop strong relationships and establish a collaborative operational framework for optimal subcontracts performance with internal business operations and functional teams Directly oversees the work of the FEDCIV Subcontracts Division, overseeing a strong team of sector level subcontracts leaders and the subcontract administrators that support them, providing timely guidance and training as necessary Engages and advises the FEDCIV SVP & HQ Executive and their Sector level Vice Presidents on subcontracts matters Proactively resolve subcontract issues and identify and mitigate risk to avoid issues whenever possible Shape the Subcontracts Leaders and Administrators within the organization to become trusted advisors to their internal Program Customers & Growth executives WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education : Bachelor’s degree Required Experience : 8+ years of related experience within contracts administration or subcontracts administration and management Required Technical Skills : Skilled working with MS Office Suite and SharePoint Security Clearance Level : None required Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to mentor and develop staff. Ability to communicate and work with audiences ranging from entry-level employees to the president of the company. Effective leadership skills. Expert knowledge of the practices, procedures, and processes involved in subcontracts administration. Expert knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned subcontracts, including FAR, applicable Agency Supplements, and public laws. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Strategic thinker and trusted advisor to CAMO and company leadership. Ability to lean forward and proactively address issues and mitigate them to avoid operational risk to the business. Ability to effectively manage department budgets. Location : This is a hybrid position working at our GDIT facility in Falls Church, VA. Must be comfortable working 3 days a week onsite.
