QA Manager

Boston, MAHybridFull Time$130k - $185kA large enterprise is seeking an experienced QA Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you will manage and mentor a team of QA engineers, lead quality assurance initiatives, and shape the testing strategy across multiple product lines. This hybrid position offers flexibility, with occasional in-office collaboration in the Greater Boston area (candidates from the New England region are also encouraged to apply).As a QA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire QA process, including defining test strategies, creating test plans, and ensuring the quality and performance of software products. You will collaborate closely with development and product teams to drive quality improvements, manage the execution of test plans, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. In addition to managing the team, you will mentor junior QA engineers, streamline testing practices, and ensure that the team meets project deadlines and quality standards.Required Skills & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2+ years in a management or leadership role. Proven experience in leading QA teams and driving quality assurance strategies across products. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit). Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Ability to balance technical leadership with hands-on testing and troubleshooting. Experience in building and maintaining automated testing frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
