Product Engineering Manager

Position: Product Engineering ManagerLocation: Auburn, IndianaStatus Full-time, PermanentIndustry: AutomotiveResponsibilities:· Manage all aspects of program management from prototypes to production start-up and customer launch.· Oversee engineering changes to ensure product compliance with customer and manufacturing specifications.· Act as the liaison between the company and customers, providing technical support for product launches.· Ensure timely communication between departments, including production, tool room, quality assurance, and engineering.· Track all program costs and ensure they stay within budget, reporting any deviations.· Work closely with process engineers and department managers to implement new or revised process flows.· Prepare and present cost savings proposals to management and customers.· Maintain ISO 14001 / TS 16949 compliance and a high standard of business ethics.Requirements:· Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, tool and die design, or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience.· Minimum of 10 years' experience in engineering, tooling, or program management.· At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility.· Automotive industry experience is an asset.· Strong knowledge of SPC, FMEA, DOE, PFMEA, DDI, GD&T, and APQP.· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.· Proficient in computer skills, including databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.Industry:ConsultingExperience:5-10 yearsSkills:· At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility.
