Duties
Represent clients in workers' compensation claims, including depositions and legal proceedings. Conduct depositions of physicians and witnesses as part of case preparation. Research and analyze complex legal issues related to workers' compensation. Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions. Provide sound legal advice to clients on various workers' compensation matters. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in order to reach favorable outcomes. Prepare and present cases in court or before administrative bodies. Maintain detailed records of case progress and communications with clients and other stakeholders. Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in workers' compensation law. Proven ability to handle complex legal cases and provide strategic advice. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present arguments clearly. Strong research and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to represent clients in both formal and informal legal settings, including court and administrative hearings. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications
Active membership and good standing with the State Bar of California. Skills
