Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team. Operating across diverse verticals, including digital programs, coaching services, and e-commerce products like supplements and apparel, we are a performance marketing driven company. In this role, you will be instrumental in building our business intelligence capabilities and empowering our teams to make data-driven decisions across the organization. Were looking for someone technically skilled, analytically sharp, and eager to dive into the dynamic challenges of a startup environment. Your insights will directly influence our marketing strategies, sales efforts, and overall business growth as you work across departments to ensure our decisions are backed by robust data.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with data engineering to design and optimize data processes, including the buildout and enhancement of our data warehouse infrastructure, while ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and advertising teams to develop and refine customer segmentation within our sales funnels, utilizing key platforms such as Meta, Google and many other ad channels while ensuring that strategies and decisions are data driven.
Manage data integrity and accuracy across all reporting, developing and maintaining intuitive, actionable dashboards with tools like GA4, Sigma and Snowflake that provide real-time insights and support strategic decision-making.
Analyze customer behavior and sales funnel performance, identifying trends, segment differences, and preferences to optimize engagement strategies and improve conversion rates, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.
Work with external partners and vendors to evaluate channel performance and refine strategies, particularly within major advertising platforms, to ensure the highest possible return on investment.
Lead business operations initiatives to identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements, manage comprehensive business process documentation, and oversee change management to ensure seamless integration of new systems.
Standardize KPI definitions, reporting practices, and calculation methods across the business, ensuring consistent, accurate, and reliable data that stakeholders can depend on for critical decisions.
Develop comprehensive data solution plans that empower stakeholders to make faster, better decisions, backed by deep analytical insights that drive business growth.
Present regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key insights, actionable recommendations, and data-driven goals for marketing and sales teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
4+ years of data analytics experience.
Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling, with proven experience integrating new data sources, optimizing data warehouses, and developing complex reports and dashboards using Sigma or similar tools.
Extensive experience in business analytics roles, focusing on ecommerce, performance marketing, and media buying, with practical knowledge of digital marketing metrics and customer segmentation.
Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and advertising platforms like Facebook Ads and Google Ads, along with proficiency in data visualization tools and advanced database modeling skills
Exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of dissecting complex systems and deriving insights with minimal guidance, and excellent communication skills to drive productive collaboration across technical and business teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-moving startup environment, with a proactive approach to staying current with emerging trends and new technologies.
