RESPONSIBILIITES:
Perform data management, process uplifts and strategic reporting initiatives for the Asset Secured Lending Business in the US-based Data Analytics (DA) Team
Partner with teammates in the Bangalore-based DA team on projects and strategic work
Apply quality control, data validation, and data cleansing processes to new and existing data sources
Identify and remove redundancies, reduce manual interventions and improve process efficiency effectiveness through automation
Engage with stakeholders and team members across various GBM business lines to understand, define and implement their reporting and automation requirements
Work closely with global and regional teams to architect, develop, and maintain advanced reporting solutions
Translate business requirements into tangible solution specifications and high quality, on time deliverables
Manage project timelines and completions for committed analytics, automation and reporting deliverables
Coordinate with Engineering and internal departments to understand business requirements and help define and drive enhancements to Engineering systems
Manage data dictionaries and large data stores
Manage and create data related quality control checks for internal databases and provide resolution through analytic research
Fulfill ad hoc data requests
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability 0-3 years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, structured / relational databases or Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes Proficient in SQL and / or interacting with structured data Understanding of in industry standard data transformation and reporting tools such as Tableau and Alteryx, or ability to create/build reports and data visualizations Must know or be able to learn Excel to an advanced level Strong academic background - 4-year engineering, finance or background Solid analytical/logical mindset and attention to detail Strong communication skills (clear, concise, and confident) with the ability to manage internal and external relationships. Ability to organize and prioritize workload and deal with multiple priorities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of Python Expertise in structured data management and governance, including effective data transformation processes and efficient data modelling principles Mortgage banking or other financial industry experience Understanding of structured finance, collateralized lending, fixed income or related finance modeling concepts
