Electrical and Instrumentation Inspector

Insight Global is looking for an Electrical and Instrumentation Inspector for an LNG client in the Corpus Christi area. This individual will be responsible the E&I inspections of LNG trains for the expansion of their facility. They will be involved in all phases of inspections from underground to above ground installations - including switchgear, motor control centers, and electrical drives. The majority of this role will be participating in system walk downs for various E&I systems. Other responsibilities will include verifying punch items to ensure all systems are installed and operating correctly to meet project specifications and standards. This role will report on site Monday - Friday with some Saturdays as necessary.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation inspections

Experience with electrical installations, instrumentation systems, and hazardous area classifications

Ability to interpret electrical drawings and diagrams

Experience with walkdowns, punch listing, and surveillance

Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and NFPA 70E standards

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

LNG or oil & gas project experience

Experience with new construction

Background as an electrical or instrumentation technician

Electrical or Journeyman License
