We are looking for a Site Director to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Beaumont, TX.

As a Site Director you will be responsible for all aspects of site management. The position has direct reporting responsibility for manufacturing, asset management, engineering & maintenance, operational excellence / continuous improvement, site logistics, QA/QC and EHS, with administrative or oversight responsibilities for support services, including HR and Indirect Procurement. You will be accountable for employee safety, site performance and maintaining the license to operate. The position must maintain strong relations with the community and government entities involved in permitting and overall license to operate, as well as with key industry associations.

Directing staff in close cooperation with the Leadership Team, service functions, and global groups while setting site strategy, goals, and action plans in line with business objectives, corporate initiatives, and global strategies.

Leading safety and environmental programs to minimize or eliminate accidents, incidents, and violations while ensuring that KPIs are set and monitored for cost, capital, raw material usage, analytical data, production, finished product packaging, and transportation.

Creating a working environment based on BASF's Mission, Vision, and Value Statement that fosters teamwork and empowers site employees to achieve maximum results.

Interfacing with supply chain and the business to prioritize production and ensure reliable, quality supply to customers while steering the development and implementation of investment projects at the site, focusing on infrastructure, utility, and EHS/legal compliance requirements for the entire site.

Ensuring the hiring, development, training, and retention of the workforce while fostering collaboration with the Bargaining Unit to ensure harmonious industrial relations.

If you...

Possess a B.S., B.A., or M.A. degree in any of the following technical functions: Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline, such as Mechanical or Electrical.

Have preferrably a minimum of 15 years of experience in plant operations or similar roles.

Own significant experience in leading teams (ideally 10+ years).

Possess in-depth knowledge of manufacturing site support systems in maintenance, continuous improvement, environmental, health, and safety.

⁠Have strong verbal and technical writing communication skills, along with very good management and organizational skills.

Demonstrate leadership capabilities, including previous managerial experience, and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Be able to communicate effectively with employees, the public, the government, the media and various stakeholders.
