Reporting to the Executive Director of Epic Patient Financial Services – Revenue Cycle, the Senior Epic Operations Analyst is the preeminent Epic Lead analytical resource tasked with improving revenue results and operational efficiencies for all One BILH Epic Revenue Cycle entities. This position requires an advanced-level knowledge of professional business office operational workflows, policies and procedures, and expertise in Epic software usage, build, and performance enhancement. Job Description: Essential Duties & Responsibilities

including but not limited to: Analyzes, evaluates, and implements changes supporting all Epic Resolute, Claims, Remittance, and Router applications including ongoing production maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Has oversight and approval of initial recommendations on decisions for planning, design, development, build, and/or configuration of all Resolute Professional Billing applications presented by the Epic Operations Analyst (EOA). Uses internal and external resources to guide PFS management and end-users on system requirements. Serves as the Lead Epic liaison to the IT Epic support team, vendor management, and operational departments. Responsible for all assigned Epic Remedy tickets to completion. Manages the ticket priority for all Service Now tickets submitted to IT. Validate and approve all testing and build changes after completion before moving to Epic production. Designs, develops and implements training related to Epic Resolute and end-user workflows. Has oversight of Epic upgrade features with IT. Oversees and provides go-live schedules and support during Epic implementation, upgrades, and new build enhancements. Assign projects to EOA to perform root-cause analysis of denials to reduce denials and manual rework. Assists in the oversight and management of external system charge applications and tools. Serves as a mentor, trainer, and lead to the Epic Operations Analysts. Evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience Required Licensure, Certification & Registration:

Epic Revenue Cycle Certification/Proficiency: PB CDM, PB Charge Capture, PB Charge Router, claims and remittance preferred Experience:

7+ years of clinical, healthcare operations, and healthcare information technology experience. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

Works independently, ability to prioritize, and has organizational skills a must. Excellent communication skills.
