Job Title: Senior Security Architect Duration: 6 Months Location: Waterford, MI Job Description: The Senior Security Architect will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security of enterprise information by determining security requirements, planning and implementing security systems, and preparing security standards, policies, and procedures. This role involves designing and evaluating security technologies and providing mentorship to elevate the security team. Responsibilities: Security System Design and Implementation: Determine security requirements and plan, implement, and test security systems. Evaluate technologies for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related devices. Design public key infrastructures (PKIs) utilizing certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures. Ensure adherence to industry standards for on-premises, disaster recovery (DR), and cloud environments. Team and Process Development: Mentor and guide the security team to enhance their capabilities and deliver solutions. Provide technical and procedural guidance while teaching improved processes. Security Standards and Policies: Define, operationalize, and document the security architecture and assessment function. Develop and document standardized reference architectures, including zero trust architecture. Identify and apply appropriate controls and criteria for security architecture reviews. Environment: Design and maintain security architecture frameworks to address enterprise needs. Elevate team performance through mentoring and knowledge transfer. Standardize and implement zero trust security architecture models. Support both on-premise and cloud environments with robust security solutions.
