DevOps Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer with a strong background in provisioning and environment buildout. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Ansible and Terraform, with a solid understanding of cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS. This role involves writing automation scripts, maintaining infrastructure, and collaborating with development, QA, and SRE teams. Key Responsibilities: Provision and build out infrastructure environments using Ansible and Terraform. Write playbooks for Ansible and execution plans for Terraform to automate infrastructure tasks. Monitor and maintain infrastructure health and performance. Implement and manage cloud technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and AWS (EC2). Develop automation code to provision and teardown resources across tech stacks. Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery, including pipeline as code (Groovy). Collaborate closely with development, QA, and SRE teams to ensure smooth operations. Maintain and utilize knowledge of GitHub, Maven, and Gradle in development processes. Exhibit strong scripting skills in Python and Unix Shell scripting. Required Qualifications: Proven experience in infrastructure provisioning and environment buildout. Expertise in Ansible and Terraform. Strong understanding of cloud technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and AWS (EC2). Excellent scripting skills in Python and Unix Shell. In-depth knowledge of Jenkins, including plugins and pipeline as code (Groovy). Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong willingness and ability to learn new technologies quickly. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Puppet, AWS IAM, and microservices architecture.
