About the Opportunity: Wing's UTM (Uncrewed Traffic Management) team builds products and services for pilots, regulators, and the public to enable safe and compliant drone operations. As a UTM Software Engineer Intern, you'll work on a diverse team of passionate individuals aspiring to make drone delivery an accessible reality for the world. Our engineers establish best practices to enable rapid iteration of resilient software products that scale regulatory compliance and unlock more airspace - enabling company goals of scale, efficiency, and profitability. In this role, you will: Help design and build systems that will be used by real-world customers. Develop scalable backend services. Work with large-scale technical infrastructure. Implement features for Drone Pilots around the world. What You'll Need: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, graduating between December 2025 and August 2026 Experience with C++ Strong examples of previous engineering experience from past internships and/or extracurricular projects Passion for Aviation and Drone technologies. It will be an in-person, hybrid internship based in Palo Alto, CA with start dates either in May or June. The US base salary range for this internship position is the salary range below benefits. Wing's salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
