JOB SUMMARY The Corporate Communications Director supervises the Company’s internal and external messaging, marketing strategy, and Customer relations, while supporting the operational divisions of the Company in the pursuit of their mission. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. DATA. a. Monitors industry financial, technological, demographic, supply chain and competitive factors to capitalize on the Company’s market opportunities. b. Develops and maintains Customer data base (CRM), including satisfaction index. 2. MARKETING. a. Develops and implements the Company’s marketing strategy to support its performance objectives. b. Creates and implements promotional campaigns and coordinates with internal (purchasing, inventory control, sales teams) and external (suppliers, Customers, Trade Associations) stakeholders. c. Supervises marketing activities including branding, print, social and digital media, event planning, community engagement, trade association support, and Customer relations. 3. REPORTING. Monitors, measures and reports to senior management on the Company’s marketing effectiveness compared to its goals, utilizing data and analytic solutions (KPI, ROI, CRM). 4. BUDGETING. Develops and manages the Company’s communications / marketing / public relations budget. 5. COMMUNICATIONS. a. Supervises internal and external messaging, ensuring alignment with the Company's vision, mission and values. b. Leads and executes the Company’s communications strategy including marketing, community relations, Customer engagement (CRM) and reputation management. 6. SUPPORT. Supports the Company’s management in the performance of their duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS • Master's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred. Bachelors degree in communications, marketing, business or related field. • Three years’ experience effectively supervising a dynamic sales and/or marketing team in a complex environment. Strong and precise attention to detail. • Three years’ recent experience with data analytics, SEO, CRM, market research. • Five years’ experience in corporate communications and/or marketing, including graphics, video/print/digital media. Strong writing and in-person presentation skills - clear, concise and persuasive. Strong communications skills – written, verbal, public and interpersonal. • Strong analytical skills - define relevant challenges, collect and interpret data, design solutions and measure effectiveness. • Public relations experience – community engagement, crisis management. • Proficient in Google analytics, Microsoft Office, Publisher, Digital media • Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and information. WORKING CONDITIONS Part of this position is physically demanding. May lift equipment weighing up to 30 pounds. Will stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and feel. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, paint, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials. Extensive and repeated travel away from home for multiple days by airplane, car, Commercial Carrier or other public transportation is required. Desk work required, including use of computer video monitor, laptop computer, cellular telephone, ten-key calculator and completing paperwork.
