Job Description:The Role\u00A0Fidelity Labs is looking for a Principal API Engineer to join us. As a key member of a growing engineering team, this role will be hands-on building the technology and architecture of world class end-to-end systems.\u00A0

The Expertise You Have\u00A0Expert level knowledge of RESTful APIs (Java & Node.js), SQL, system design, data structures, and algorithms.\u00A0Expert level development experience (currently hands on) in Java, Spring MVC/Spring Core/Web Services and configuring web containers.\u00A0Expertise in developing and a proven track record of delivering full-stack cloud-based applications.\u00A0Strong experience with sophisticated distributed systems, micro services and event-based architectures.\u00A0You are comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.\u00A0You have a passion for clean, maintainable code and are always looking to improve your engineering skills in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.\u00A0You have a passion for testing as a core part of the development process and can build or contribute to automated testing frameworks that can detect any anomalies in functionality, performance and integration.\u00A0Learning, adapting and adopting new concepts & technologies quickly and implementing them optimally.\u00A0Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a modular, scalable and resilient platform.\u00A0You build positive relationships with other team members and have excellent verbal and written communication.\u00A0Certifications:Company Overview Fidelity Investments is a privately held company with a mission to strengthen the financial well-being of our clients.
