DESCRIPTION
Michael Baker International is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The Senior Analyst provides support to the corporate finance teams and will help lead financial analysis and provide actionable financial information. The role will participate in all aspects of financial and operations management including Business Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial Analysis. Contributes to the development and monitoring of strategic objectives that lead to corporate goals. This can be a remote position. Analyze and report on current financial status, key trends, and forecast implications Lead consolidation of budgeting and forecasting exercises, working with operational finance teams to ensure timely, accurate financial projections Assess operational performance compared to Strategic Plan, Operating Plan and Forecast Support corporate department leaders (IT, Legal, HR, Finance, Communications) with financial management of their respective functional areas Update and maintain the company's long-term modeling (Strategic Plan) Manage capital expenditure budgeting and approval processes Team with Corporate Accounting team to perform monthly accounting functions required to maintain the general ledger (including accruals, expense tracking) Create presentations for senior leadership and board of directors Drive cost analysis and implementation of savings/efficiency ideas PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in FP&A, finance or accounting Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a quantitative discipline, Masters' degree a plus Comfortable with dealing with various financial/reporting tools (Oracle suite, BI platforms, SQL) Strong understanding of financial processes; Experience in making existing processes/procedures more efficient and streamlined Experience with financial modeling, including summarization of outcomes to executive leaders Demonstrate excellence in business analytics and tools Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, relationship development, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to present at all levels within the business Ability to clearly communicate ideas and recommended actions to all levels of the organization, using negotiation, persuasion, and discretion to accomplish objectives and deliver results Ability to drive projects to completion in a complex, deadline driven environment Demonstrate leadership qualities, excellent organizational and time management skills COMPENSATION The salary range for this position is $82,326 - $129,667. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
