Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will play a critical part in building a passionate, talented, and mission-aligned workforce. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is skilled at sourcing and hiring exceptional talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Support requisition management of open positions in NY and support overall recruitment in both states.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and define job requirements.
Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates, including posting on job boards, leveraging social media, and networking.
Screen and interview candidates to assess qualifications, alignment with organizational values, and role fit, managing dozens of candidates per week.
Coordinate and manage the full-cycle recruitment process from application to extending offers.
Maintain an applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates for future opportunities.
Attending of job fairs, outside networking events, and biweekly meetings with program management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field and 1 year in a customer service environment.
Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills.
Comfortable with networking, cold calling, and actively recruiting in the community.
Strong technology skills are a must.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as in collaboration on a team.
Ability to protect privacy and confidentiality with a high level of tact in handling sensitive compensation and personal information.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and written/verbal communication skills is a must.
