Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will play a critical part in building a passionate, talented, and mission-aligned workforce. Key Responsibilities:
- Support requisition management of open positions in NY and support overall recruitment in both states.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and define job requirements.
- Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates, including posting on job boards, leveraging social media, and networking.
- Screen and interview candidates to assess qualifications, alignment with organizational values, and role fit, managing dozens of candidates per week.
- Coordinate and manage the full-cycle recruitment process from application to extending offers.
- Maintain an applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates for future opportunities.
- Attending of job fairs, outside networking events, and biweekly meetings with program management.
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field and 1 year in a customer service environment.
- Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with networking, cold calling, and actively recruiting in the community.
- Strong technology skills are a must.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as in collaboration on a team.
- Ability to protect privacy and confidentiality with a high level of tact in handling sensitive compensation and personal information.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and written/verbal communication skills is a must.
