We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in the mortgage industry, based in Irvine, California. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications, maintaining precise customer credit records, and addressing customer inquiries. You will also monitor customer accounts and take necessary action.
Responsibilities: • Verify and maintain the accuracy and completeness of executed closing documents. • Ensure all title requirements are met as per title commitments. • Check if consumer funds are due and received and notify relevant individuals if not. • Ensure the quality of scanned executed documents, making them web viewable and attaching them to the file. • Meet lender specifications and submit corrections to lender as per their requirements. • Create and maintain notes for all files reviewed, indicating whether the review passed or failed. • Review and attach trailing mail and corrections to the appropriate orders. • Approve the shipping of packages to lenders after review. • Resolve audit rejections and problem files. • Maintain the settlement review group box professionally and positively. • Interact professionally with all levels of management, employees, and customers via email, phone, and in person.• 1+ years of mortgage, lending, escrow, or title experience is required • Demonstrated proficiency in 10 Key Skills to ensure swift and accurate data input. • Excellent customer service skills to handle client queries effectively and professionally. • Proven data entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, able to create spreadsheets, draft documents, and perform other necessary tasks. • Ability to organize files effectively, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information. • Able to perform calculations accurately, essential for mortgage-related data. • Experience with scanning documents, ensuring digital copies are clearly legible and properly stored. • Fast and accurate typing skills, ensuring efficient data entry and document creation.
