Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Fuel Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The warehouse associate will also be involved in inventory management and may be required to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records on all tank products and parts inventoried at warehouse.
  • Monitor rotation and transfer of stock as needed, while avoiding shortages and accounting for out-of-stock items.
  • Complete cycle counts and investigations of inventory overages and deficits.
  • Track product itineraries and returns.
  • Create POs and comply with vendor policies.
  • Receive physical and in system inventoried product (Oils, Fuel tank parts, additives).
  • Organize and maintain inventory systems.
  • Lead and develop continuous improvement projects for the fuel division.
  • Loading, unloading and moving products and materials by hand or by using equipment such as a forklift.
  • Counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking products of various sizes to make sure shipments are safe.
  • Keeping the area safe and ensuring the safety of others in the warehouse.
  • Complete accurate transactional logs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6 AM - 5PM
  • Proven warehouse experience.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 70 pounds) and stand and walk for long periods.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certification to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with inventory management software.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols in a warehouse environment.


Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen prior to hiring.
