Description of the role:

The Body Shop Warehouse position is a key role within Frank Kent Motor Company. The Warehouse team is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory, ensuring materials and supplies are readily available for use in the body shop department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the overall efficiency and productivity of the body shop operations.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect all incoming shipments, verifying items against purchase orders and ensuring accuracy of quantities.
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring all items are properly labeled and stored in designated locations.
• Assist in the distribution of parts and supplies to the body shop technicians as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to monitor stock levels and assist in the procurement process when inventory is low.
• Perform routine inventory counts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or inventory management role is preferred.
• Working knowledge of inventory management systems and software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
