Through our dedication to provide excellence to our customers, we have grown from a small independent pharmacy to a multi-state long-term care pharmacy solution.We are proud to offer:Competitive compensationAn awesome work environmentOpportunities to advance and grow your careerAnd More!Duties and Responsibilities:Manages the workflow processes which may include pharmacist verification and labeling/packagingReviews medication orders and evaluates their appropriateness and completenessComplies with federal and local pharmacy laws as regulated by the Kansas State Boards of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Food and Drug Administration.Performs all job duties with a friendly, positive and team-oriented approachMaintains required licenses or certifications in good standingComplies with all company policies, procedures, rules and standardsAll other duties as assigned by Pharmacist-in-ChargeRequirementsRequired Skills/Abilities:Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3 years preferredMust possess a Kansas State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist LicenseOrder Entry experience requiredMinimal typing speed of 40WPM preferredMedical Records experience preferredExperience with QS1, FrameworkLTC and/or DocuTrack preferredPositive personality who is able to work well within a teamAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environmentProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareCan de-escalate and troubleshoot problems within the pharmacyIf you are hardworking, dedicated and looking for a change in your career, we may have an opportunity for you!Tarrytown is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
