Tandym Group is hiring: Business Analyst (Cloud/Data) in Parsippany

A consumer products company in New Jersey is looking to add a new Business Analyst (Cloud / Data) to their growing team. ***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.*** Responsibilities: The Business Analyst (Cloud / Data) will: Assess AS-IS processes and develop new processes and/or business flows to leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) capabilities of Software-As-A-Service (SAAS) Consult with Data Engineering team and Functional Unit Owners and document a gap analysis of capabilities, requirements and needs against technology Apply business process re-engineering methodologies for systems modernization Develop new standard operating procedures documentation and a handbook for Data Lake Prepare and present findings, recommendations, new operating models, and new workflows in consultation with the Data Engineering team Creates methodology to measure process performance against established metrics Work with the business users to analyze processes and system issues and turn them into actionable system changes that benefit the requesting party(s), improve efficiency in operations and overall performance Collaborate with project teams and business partners during project planning, incremental software delivery reviews, and User Acceptance testing to ensure the software has been implemented based on the specifications Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: 10+ years of IT experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, and/or a related Experience in Systems Analysis, Data Analysis & Design with proven record of successful large scale project implementations Experience in SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodology, including: eliciting/documenting user stories/acceptance criteria, backlog management, and Sprint reviews Experience in Data Modeling Experience in Process Re-engineering Knowledge of Information Security Awareness Solid understanding of Web Applications Desired Skills: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification Experience with enterprise Business-to-Business durableable goods, construction, or building materials manufacturing Experience in Jira Experience in Google Cloud technology
