Business Analyst (EDI)

A recognized consumer products company in New Jersey is currently seeking a new Business Analyst (EDI) to join their growing team of professionals.

***This is a Hybrid role requiring the qualified professional to commute to the company's site in Morris County, NJ every six weeks for meetings & workshops.***

Responsibilities:

• Eliciting and documenting 3rd party to SAP via EDI to enable the client to receive/send EDI data with customers
• Collaborating with the project stakeholders to analyze the: needs, processes, and data mapping requirements to be developed by the technical team
• Facilitating User Acceptance testing to ensure the software has been implemented based on the specifications
• Completing assignments regularly with the ability to work on 1-3 projects simultaneously
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of IT experience
• 10+ years of experience in systems/data analysis with a proven record of successful large scale project implementations
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related majors
• Experience in SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodology, including: eliciting/documenting user stories/acceptance criteria, backlog management, and Sprint reviews
• Modeling experience (e.g., process/data flows, use cases, swim lane diagrams, AS-IS /TO-BE diagrams, mock-ups/wireframes)
• Solid problem solving and time management skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Desired Skills:

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification
• Previous IT experience in enterprise Business-to-Business durable goods, construction, or building materials manufacturing
• Solid understanding old and new conversion data (e.g., Master Data: Customers, Products, Cross References (e.g., Store Cross Reference, Item Cross Reference)
• Experience in the Manufacturing industry
• Working knowledge of SAP and SAP IDoc
• Experience in EDI
• Experience with Order to Cash
• Experience in Jira
